After many years of trialling different methods of blackberry control we now have an eight year operations process for converting a landscape infested with blackberry to one that is relatively blackberry free. Using data we have collected over a 20 year period, we can now schedule, budget and assess control works.
Increased job satisfaction is one of the lovely outcomes from this process. We have discovered its really really important providing a visual graphic reference such as the ones shown here so that those involved, be it on the end of the spray hose or providing us with funding, can see where that days work fits into the process or where their dollars were spent.
