We’ve engaged forestry expert Gary Featherstone who has put together a proposal for a Forest Management Plan (FMP).

We will be able to explore options for future plantation management. This FMP will allow us to decide on the best strategy and then define the activities required to meet that strategy. It will include sets of maps of values to inform our decision making.
Gary manages a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) group which we have committed to joining. This important step requires us to uphold fundamental principles in every stage of development of our plantation such as Compliance with the Law, Workers Rights and Employment Conditions, Indigenous People’s rights, Community Relations, Environmental Values and Impacts. We feel all these principles align with our core values at Yambulla.
