Yambulla has developed a strategic partnership with Conservation Futures, a collaboration between The University of Melbourne and Bush Heritage, funded by the Ian Potter Foundation
Conservation Futures brings together First Nations people, natural resource managers, private landholders, industry, government, research and conservation groups to develop culturally-sensitive, integrated planning and knowledge-gathering systems. Their aim is to develop an Integrated Knowledge System that scales effectively across local, regional and national scopes and to pilot integrated planning based on this shared knowledge.
Their programs will support the acknowledgment, protection and restoration of Country, through helping generate shared visions, strategies and actions for the future of Country in many parts of Australia.
Yambulla and Conservation Futures are jointly funding a role for an Indigenous Research Officer to help build knowledge for this valley.
We are currently collaborating with Black Duck Foods to craft the job description, to help us to not only get the best candidate but also ensure that their role at Yambulla is a rewarding and Culturally safe workplace.
Feel at home in our secluded, architect-designed off-grid guest lodge. Surrounded by nothing but nature as far as the eye can see.
